Crafting Your First Cloak in Throne and Liberty

Jan-23-2024 PST
Today, we will discuss the process of crafting your first cloak in Throne and Liberty. This guide will provide you with the necessary information to get started. Unlike some other MMOs that reserve cloaks for late game, you can obtain your first cloak early on in the game. The initial city you visit after the introduction island is Kastleton, where you can craft your cloak.

To begin, locate the designated area shown in the screenshot. There, you will find various NPCs who either sell or facilitate crafting. Additionally, we have a guide available that offers helpful tips for beginners in Throne and Liberty. Click on the cloak icon to access the selection of craftable cloaks available from Rachel in Kastleton.

Crafting a cloak is not expensive, so finances should not be a concern. However, you may be missing some materials. For instance, the Hunter's Cloak requires the following materials: 1x Quality Lithograph: Armor, 5x Quality Magithread, 5x Quality Magic Powder, and 3x Strength Crystal. If you are unable to craft the cloak at this time, do not worry excessively. It is recommended to progress through the Purple Main Storyline, as this will provide you with valuable rewards and eventually grant you the necessary materials around levels 10-12. The main storyline quest will also introduce you to crafting at approximately levels 10-11, ensuring that you receive the required materials for crafting a specific armor piece. For more information on the Purple quests, please refer to our Throne and Liberty Powerleveling Guide.

In summary, the most efficient way to craft a cloak in Throne and Liberty is by advancing through the Purple Main Storyline, which will eventually guide you through a tutorial on armor crafting. This will enable you to craft your desired cloak. In my own character's journey in Throne and Liberty, I opted to start with the Shaman's Cloak due to its Mana Regen attribute. Since all skill activations consume Mana, this cloak is a wise choice.
